Friends,

After nearly a month of gridlock, the Minnesota House is finally back in action. In the video below, I share my thoughts on this long-overdue return to work and the new leadership that will help guide us forward. Yesterday, we officially elected Rep. Lisa Demuth as Speaker of the House for the next two years—an important step toward restoring order and ensuring bipartisanship in the legislative process. I was proud to offer her nomination and look forward to her leadership over the next couple of years.

This has been a challenging time, but with the House now fully organized, we can shift our focus back to the issues that matter most to Minnesotans. While there will still be disagreements, the balance of power in the House requires real collaboration, and I am committed to working with my colleagues—on both sides of the aisle—to deliver results for our state.

Take a moment to watch my update, and as always, thank you for your continued support. I appreciate all of the emails and messages you’ve sent throughout this process. Now, it’s time to get to work!
