Steaming Forward: Republicans on the Move
John,
This week, the Indiana GOP has been proud to stand by our conservative
leadership, both at home and in Washington, as they continue to advance the
commonsense priorities that most impact Hoosiers. Governor Braun demonstrated
his commitment to hearing from everyday Hoosiers, sitting down with homeowners
to discuss their struggles with rising property taxes and laying out solutions
to combat this issue.
Our federal representatives have been working tirelessly to confirm President
Trump's nominees, battling Democrat obstructionism and ensuring that the new
administration can deliver on the historic mandate Republicans won in November.
I am deeply honored by the trust you have placed in me to serve as Interim
Chair of the Indiana GOP for the last several months, by your unwavering
support, and by the privilege of working alongside you. Ours is a party of
dedication, responsibility, and integrity; those are the values that have
propelled us to where we are today, those are the values I have strived to live
up to as your Chairwoman, and those are the values that are going to continue
to grow and strengthen our party. We now have the opportunity to make Indiana a
model of freedom and prosperity—setting ourselves apart and achieving for
Hoosiers what was once thought impossible. And together, I know we will.
Thank you for all you do pals,
Erin Lucas, Indiana GOP Interim Chairwoman

Governor Braun Hosts Fireside Chat on Tax Relief
Governor Mike Braun on Tuesday, sat down with Hoosiers to discuss frustrations
over rising property taxes and his plan to address the problem through cuts,
caps, and reforms.
What he said: "I want to thank Mark Gross and Jennie Reith for taking time out
of their day to talk with me today about how property taxes are impacting their
daily lives. Households across Indiana have seen their property taxes increase,
some by double!"said Governor Braun. "All taxpayers should make their voices
heard like Mark and Jennie did today. I encourage taxpayers to reach out to
their legislators to express their concerns about property taxes and the need
for relief."
