John,

The future of abortion rights, gerrymandering, and the balance of power in Wisconsin all rest on the most crucial election since the 2024 presidential contest, and almost nobody is paying attention to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race.

The battle for control of Wisconsin’s top court is shaping up to be even bigger and more expensive than the tough 2023 race, and the future of the state’s 1849 abortion ban coming into play is at risk. If a Democrat wins, we can hold a narrow 4-3 majority on the court, protect reproductive rights, and lay the groundwork for fairer elections. If a Republican wins, we risk losing everything – again.

Help us combat the millions of dollars Republicans are pouring into this race in their attempt to continue policing women's bodies. We have 50,000 grassroots supporters in our movement so far, and if each of us reading this donates $10, we've can be prepared to run rapid-response ads to combat Republican lies and protect the progress we made for women’s rights. Here’s where things stand in this critically important race that will be a bellwether as one of the first major elections for Democrats and Republicans to look to during the second Trump presidency:

On one side, we have Judge Susan Crawford, a liberal candidate backed by Democrats who will fight to preserve abortion rights and ensure that fair congressional maps could help us flip two critical Republican-held House seats. Electing Judge Crawford could be the moment we shift the balance of power in Wisconsin—and for the entire nation.

On the other side, Judge Brad Schimel, a conservative former Attorney General, wants to flip the 4-3 liberal majority on the court. If he wins, it could mean an end to the prospect of fair elections in Wisconsin, and the enactment of an 1849 abortion ban law that will threaten the rights of women across the state.

This is more than just a judicial race—this is a fight for reproductive rights, fair elections, and the future of Wisconsin’s democracy. With millions of dollars pouring in from both sides, we can’t afford to sit back and let the Republicans buy this election.

Your support is crucial. With just a $5 donation, we can fund critical outreach to voters across Wisconsin, ensuring they know what’s at stake, with $10 we can buy more airtime. Donate now to help us protect Wisconsin’s future. [link removed]
