Yet in a matter of days, he gained access to sensitive government databases — including the Treasury Department’s payment system — and is already using his unchecked power to gut key federal agencies.
This isn’t just corruption. It’s a full-scale takeover. And Trump is letting it happen.

We need to talk about Elon Musk, John.
As you know, Trump tapped the richest man in the world to lead the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — a position that gives him massive influence over federal programs, with no formal oversight or accountability.
This is the same Elon Musk who made a Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration celebration. The same Elon Musk who criticized Germany's commitment to Holocaust education and called for the country to “move beyond” guilt over its Nazi past. And the same Elon Musk who turned X into a breeding ground for antisemitism and far-right extremism.
Musk will use his position to gut government-backed programs while fast-tracking his extremist agenda. As Trump’s handpicked “efficiency czar,” he’d have the power to strip regulations that get in the way of his business empire and funnel even more profits to Trump and their billionaire allies.
Let’s be real, Trump is installing Musk to help carry out his ultimate goal to slash government agencies, fire thousands of public servants, and consolidate power for himself and his cronies.
Think about it — the richest man on Earth helping the most corrupt president in history will turn our government into their personal ATM. That’s not democracy. That’s a full-blown oligarchy in the making. We can’t let this happen.
