It’s David Hogg. Last weekend, I was honored to be elected DNC vice chair.

This is a huge win for our movement to strengthen our Party’s outreach and engagement with young voters and build the next generation of leadership.

If you’re as ready to get to work as I am, I hope you’ll make a contribution to help us build the resources we’ll need to build the strong Party we need:

After Parkland, our country was in a similar moment — we had a Republican trifecta in Washington, and countless pollsters, pundits, and consultants told us that we as young people weren’t going to be able to make any change.

But guess what? We didn't listen to them. We took on the NRA, and we won.

We raised the age to buy a gun in Florida to 21 and passed a red flag law that's been used over 19,000 times; a law that has been so popular not even Ron DeSantis has been able to repeal it. We got Republicans on the defense because we went on the offense.

So now, I’m asking you: Are you ready to go on the offense?

We have to win back young people. We must show them that we care about them and that we will invest in them. We need generational change — and we need to support the emerging leaders who are making that happen.

I’m excited to help build a new and improved Democratic Party focused on engaging young voters. If you’re with me, I hope you’ll consider chipping in today to help fund this work:
