A political graphic with an orange background and black border. The text reads, 'Mayor Adams is hoping for a GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD.' Next to the text is an illustration of the Monopoly board game character in a prison uniform running, and to the right, there is a photo of Mayor Eric Adams at a podium, wearing a suit and tie.

This week’s budget hearing confirmed what we already knew: Eric Adams isn’t interested in governing — he’s just running out the clock and hoping for a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Instead of fighting for our kids, he’s gutting $100 MILLION from 3-K programs. Instead of fixing his mess, he’s slashing early childhood education and letting our parks crumble. And when I pressed him for answers? He quite literally was saved by the bell.

New Yorkers deserve a mayor who shows up. Chip in $10 or $25 now to help me take on Adams and bring real leadership to City Hall.

PITCH IN $10 →

PITCH IN $25 →

This election, I have big questions about what New York City can be — and how we get there. But right now, the only question on my mind is: Is Eric Adams actually interested in governing, or pleading for a dismissal of his case?

Let’s win this,

Jessica
