We could have expected that the Trump administration would undermine emissions and pollution regulations – but these assaults on EPA’s ability to simply function at all have gone far beyond the pale. Trump and Musk have attacked the agency’s workforce and illegally withheld billions of dollars in funding – funds that states and local governments rely upon for activities like removing lead from water systems and cleaning up contaminated industrial sites.
The impacts to our communities’ health and economic prosperity are monumental – which is why our SEEC members are fighting tooth-and-nail for the EPA.
