Dear Friend,
I’m writing you today to ask for your help.
The U.S. recently froze critical health and humanitarian aid programs, threatening the lives and livelihoods of millions of people and exposing the U.S. to national security threats. These orders have immediate and dire consequences for the millions of people who rely on these programs for lifesaving aid.
Without immediate intervention, the ripple effects of this funding halt will be devastating for Project HOPE’s work.
Children will go without basic medical care, pregnant women will lose access to essential maternal health care, people with HIV will go without lifesaving medications, and mental health support for people displaced by conflict will be cut off. For the people we serve, these cuts aren’t just numbers—they are life-or-death realities. They are mothers, fathers, and entire communities who rely on these services to survive.
But in moments of uncertainty, I remind myself to look to our supporters—compassionate people like you who stand up for those in need. Your voice matters, Friend. Please urge your representatives in Congress to act now to resume U.S. foreign assistance immediately.
