Hello, shipmates -- we’re on the last leg of this primary campaign. And by George, things are heating up.

We’ve earned endorsements from major Pulitzer Prize-winning newspapers across the state: The Des Moines Register and The Storm Lake Times. President Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, endorsed our campaign as well.

We’ve also seen support pour in from every single county in Iowa. Endorsements and letters to the editor populate every newspaper in the state, big or small. No other candidate can compete.

Clearly, Iowa is ready for a change in leadership. We’re ready to get the Senate working for us -- not for greedy special interests or their lobbyists.

We have the momentum. The outside groups attacking us didn’t slow us down; they only added coal to the furnace. I’m thankful that so many of you called out their attacks for what they are: an attempt to discredit me and my military service.
