Governor Gretchen Whitmer is working to lower the costs for Michiganders while simultaneously protecting existing programs that benefit middle-class families.

Her recent budget proposal includes increased spending on education, electric vehicle infrastructure, Medicaid, employer-assisted housing, and lowering the costs of utilities.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is busy imposing tariffs that will wreck our economy and raise costs for Michiganders. He’s already imposed 10% tariffs on China and his pause on Mexico and Canada tariffs expires in less than a month.

Trump is working to raise prices for hardworking Michiganders, but Michigan Democrats are working hard to help everyone trying to make ends meet here in Michigan and keep money in the pockets of working families.

It’s up to us to remind Michigan voters that Michigan Democrats are fighting and working to lower costs while Trump and his billionaire buddies are working to steal wealth for themselves.
