New York Is Rubber and Louisiana Is Glue!
We will finally see Shield Laws tested after Louisiana issued an arrest warrant for a NY doctor who prescribed abortion pills to a Louisiana teenager. Shield Laws, designed to protect providers from the overreacharound by abortion-hostile states looking to prosecute providers and abortion seekers outside of their own borders. On the brightside, y’all know folks are not going to just take this without a fight – including NY Governor Hochul, who offered a fantastic ‘FUCK YOU’ by explicitly refusing to turn over abortion providers targeted by other states. This is what having a backbone looks like…take note, Washington!

DOGE: Department Of Gaslighting Ego(tistical Little Twerps)
Elon Musk, the human embodiment of the lice outbreak you just can’t get rid of, and his cronies have been taking over government offices across Washington, including USAID – which is responsible for around $12 billion in funding. Calling USAID not just a worm in an apple but an entire ball of worms beyond repair, Musk seems wholly unconcerned about the heartbreaking damage being done to birth control, safe pregnancy care, HIV treatment, protection from gender-based violence, and countless other life-or-death programs around the globe. Why would billionaires care when people die because of their actions?

A Man So Odious, Even His Family Hates Him
Speaking of worms, there’s this bitch: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was voted favorably along party lines to send his nomination for confirmation to the full senate. Though he faced strong opposition from literally every side (what does it say when even Mike Pence says ‘nah’?) possible, what actually matters to conservatives is that RFK Jr. is committed to being a reliable puppet for the Trump administration. Who knows, maybe the vote will fail and we’ll get someone better in his seat; throw a rock, and you’ll inevitably hit someone more qualified. Hell, we’d sooner choose the rock (or The Rock – dealer’s choice).
