Seven-year-old Landrey is fighting cystic fibrosis. But that doesn’t deter him from his love of football, or his goal to one day play professionally. And supporters like you on our wish-granting team put him one step closer when you helped to grant his wish.

Cystic fibrosis can damage the lungs, but Landrey hasn’t let that hold him — or his dreams — back. When he found out he was going to have his wish granted, choosing a wish was not difficult. He knew exactly what he wanted: his very own football field.

The Make-A-Wish^® community rallied to make Landrey’s great, big wish a touchdown — and a huge surprise! 

Professionals installed a 50′ by 30′ football field in Landrey’s backyard, complete with field goals, artificial turf and a large “P” in the middle as a tribute to his favorite football team! When he returned home from an outing on his wish day and found his backyard transformed, he couldn’t contain his joy.

Now, Landrey can play and practice football with his family and friends whenever he wants, right in the comfort of his backyard.
