Polling has shown that 2024 was an election on inflation and the cost of living

When swing voters cast their ballots for lower egg prices, did they want DOGE?
When they voted for a lower cost of living, did they want DOGE?

No. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is giving the American people.

That’s what they’re giving:
🚨 The blue-collar worker trying to provide for their family
🚨 The mother working two jobs, forced to choose between groceries and gas
🚨 The families who trusted Trump to deliver economic relief

Plain and simple: This administration has turned its back on the very voters they pretended to care about.  

Instead of tackling real issues, they are playing games with people’s livelihoods.

The President, Elon, and DOGE cannot shut down Agencies that Congress has funded.  But Trump and Elon don’t care about the Separations of Power.  It’s time for Democrats in Congress to show them that they can’t be bullied. No response is what bullies want and it’s time to respond.

This week, Country First is taking action. We’re mobilizing to expose the damage of DOGE, and lobbying Congress to exercise their power as a Coequal Branch of Government.

Musk is carrying out the most destructive part of Trump’s agenda—gutting federal agencies, attacking public servants, and undermining democracy.
