The results of this week’s Seanad election has provided the latest evidence of a pro-life resurgence in Irish politics.
It was terrific to see new pro-life Senators elected who are prepared to speak up for life and work to reduce our country’s spiralling abortion numbers.
The latest Seanad successes follow the increase in the number of pro-life TDs elected to the Dáil in November and the rise in the number of pro-life councillors elected in last June’s local elections.
It bodes well for the changes we want to see happen, having a much stronger team of pro- life advocates in the new Oireachtas than the previous one.
