*New Online ROE Form Available – Submit by March 31, 2025*

The new online Right-of-Entry form is now available for those opting into the government-sponsored debris removal program. Submit the form here [ [link removed] ]. 

*No action is needed if you already submitted an ROE form using the previous link.*

If you have not yet submitted your opt-in form, please do so as soon as possible to take advantage of this free debris removal program by the Army Corps of Engineers.

*Applications Open for Small Businesses and Worker Relief Funds*

Small businesses, nonprofits, and workers affected by the devastating wildfires can now apply for direct financial relief through the LA Region Small Business and Worker Relief Funds.* Applications are open from February 6, 2025, through February 24, 2025*.

Two grant options available:


* *Small Business Relief Fund:* Provides grants ranging from $2,000 to $25,000 for businesses and nonprofits that experienced structural damage, inventory loss, or revenue loss. Open to businesses with annual revenue up to $6 million and fewer than 100 employees.
* *Worker Relief Fund:* Provides $2,000 in direct cash assistance to workers who lost employment or income due to the wildfires. Eligible applicants must have been employed or self-employed in LA County at the time of the disaster.

To apply, visit laregionfund.lacounty.gov [ [link removed] ]. Distribution of funds expected in mid-March 2025.

*Phase One Debris Removal is Underway*

Experts from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are currently conducting the Phase 1 debris removal process. Learn how the US EPA is safely collecting, sorting and transporting household hazardous waste from fire impacted properties. Watch the video here [ [link removed] ] and below.

*Ocean Water Quality Alert for LA County Beaches*

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued a Rain Advisory for all county beaches, in effect until 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Due to recent rainfall, beachgoers are advised to avoid all water contact, especially near storm drains, creeks, and rivers, where bacteria levels may be elevated. Runoff from the rain can also flow onto the sand, creating potential health risks. Learn more here [ [link removed] ].
