**Chaos at City Hall: Anti-ICE Protesters Block Streets, Demand Open Borders**
Over the weekend, the streets of downtown Dallas were overtaken by a wave of anti-ICE protesters, turning City Hall into a spectacle of radical open-border activism. Hundreds of demonstrators, many carrying signs and waving Mexican flags gathered to decry immigration enforcement, chanting slogans like
**"No one is illegal on stolen land"** and
**"Trump must stop the mass deportations."**
The protest comes as ICE is ramping up enforcement nationwide, with a targeted goal of 75 arrests per day in Dallas alone. [link removed] While federal authorities work to restore some semblance of law and order,
**DPD Interim Chief Igo made a point to reassure illegal immigrants that they'll still be 'safe' in the city**-a message that raises serious questions about priorities. If law-abiding residents can't
**commute or walk through** their neighborhoods without fear,
**why is city leadership more concerned about the comfort of those who broke our laws to be here?**
While protestors shouted????
**"immigrants make America great,"** and waved foreign flags in the heart of our city, there was no mention of the real crisis-the rise in violent crime directly tied to the lack of enforcing our borders.
**Leftist open border policies** allowed gangs of illegals like
**Tren de Agua** to kidnap, traffic, murder, and terrorize American citizens extending well beyond our state border.
Dallasites want to live in communities that prioritize safety over chaos, and they know that we must enforce immigration law in order for that to be possible.

**District 14, Councilman Paul Ridley**
**"Highway-Side Camp"**
This encampment sits wide open beneath the highway, a glaring issue that anyone passing by can see-except, apparently,
**Councilman Paul Ridley.** With no action being taken, these camps continue to spread. Councilman Ridley, open your eyes to your obligation to District 14 residents and enforce the lawful ban on urban camps like this one.
**District 2, Councilman Jesse Moreno**
**"Shady Camp"**
Tucked along the side of a busy area in
**District 2,** this camp is filled with loitering individuals, some seemingly engaged in drug use. Residents are fed up with the safety risks and lawlessness.
**Councilman Jesse Moreno,**when will you take real action to enforce the law and make safety a priority in your district?
**District 6, Councilman Omar Narvaez**
**"Homeless Hideaway"**
Hidden beyond an abandoned parking lot, this encampment is only visible after walking through a short trail-but it's very much active. When KDS arrived, people inside the camp watched closely, making it clear they didn't want to be disturbed.
**Councilman Omar Narvaez,** why are you not getting things done to get these people the help they so desperately need?

**Mission Statement:**
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
