Dear John,

FUTURES continues to advocate for the programs and funding that keep women and their families safe and strong. That’s why right now we’re asking for your help to save Medicaid and protect Americans’ access to healthcare.

Congressional leaders are pushing to cut funding to this lifeline that is a foundational source of economic and health security for 80 million Americans, including survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Contact your Representative and Senators NOW!

Why is Medicaid so important to so many Americans? Because Medicaid:

  • Covers comprehensive benefit packages for survivors of domestic violence including screening and counseling
  • Covers health services for pregnant women including up to 50 percent of all births
  • Covers nearly half of all children in the United States and covers all the services that children need including early and periodic health screenings
  • Is the largest funder of substance use treatment and mental health services
  • Has been proven to improve health outcomes

Go here to tell your Representative and Senators,
“No cuts to Medicaid!”

We cannot allow so many Americans, including survivors and people in our communities to lose the healthcare they need.

Sincerely,

Kiersten Stewart
VP of Public Policy & Advocacy
