A corrupt, chaotic, self-serving billionaire is once again in the White House – wreaking havoc on our domestic and foreign policy. 

It's not just Donald Trump this time around. The person in charge right now is someone who never even appeared on the ballot: Elon Musk. 

At the heart of our government, Musk has installed a team of his minions to execute his will – regardless of whether it complies with laws passed by the people's representatives in Congress. Musk's team has reportedly gained access to the private personal information of millions of Americans. 

That means Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid payments are at their fingertips. Veterans' benefits are at their fingertips. Musk seems to think abolishing entire federal agencies is within his control, as we're seeing with his reckless efforts to shut down USAID and the Department of Education.

This is not 2017, friend. The Trump administration is the Elon Musk administration, and Donald Trump – who is historically chaotic, corrupt, destructive and antidemocratic in his own right – has no plans to stop Musk.

At these extraordinary times, you have my word I will use every power I have in the Senate to protect the rule of law and stop the Musk-Trump administration. That's why I've made clear I'm willing to put holds on Trump's cabinet nominations when they harm the American people and make us less safe.

This fight is only the beginning – and I will not let up at any stage. Thank you for your support.
