President Donald Trump has moved quickly to send our country into chaos.

Not even a month into office, he’s launched and then paused 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, upended the federal government, and worked to dismantle critical democratic institutions.

The threat and instability unleashed by the Trump administration loom large. This is no way to run an economy. West Michigan deserves better than reckless decision-making.

I will never stop fighting for West Michigan. In 2024, we made it clear that we won’t sit idly by in the face of Republican-led chaos and threats to our democracy and the rule of law. I’m using every lever I have to stop Republican chaos in Washington and fight for West Michigan.
