Herbert,
I’m fresh from the House floor, where I took to for the first time to call out House leadership on their inability – or outright refusal – to allow lawmakers to vote on a bill to lower costs for Americans. After all, that’s what we were elected to do.
I announced my support for legislation that will directly help families struggling with rising costs. Things like expanding paid leave and strengthening the child and earned income tax credits.
I also introduced a tracker that I will continue to post on my social media channels every day until we vote on substantive legislation that will make a difference for constituents struggling with sticker shock at the grocery stores and gas pumps.
I’ll keep fighting for you and your wallet.
