I got into public service to make life better for children and families. Today, it's still my top priority.

As a dad of two teenagers, I think every day the world we’re passing down to our kids. The decisions we make today will shape their future – whether it’s their healthcare, education, or the planet they’ll inherit.

Our kids should not have to worry about gun violence at school. They shouldn’t have to wonder if they’ll be able to afford college. And they shouldn’t fear that their communities will be ravaged by wildfires or flooding.

That’s why I’m fighting for stronger gun safety laws, protections for public education, and a bold climate agenda to secure a safe planet for our kids. But I can’t do this alone.

As Trump attempts to block common sense gun laws, dismantle the Department of Education, and reverse US climate policy, the fight for our kids’ future is more important than ever.
