John, the Trump administration's constant and unconstitutional attacks on our rights paint a bleak picture of the future — not just for the adults watching it unfold, but for the young people who must grow up with the consequences.
Here, I think of my grandkids. I'm reminded that even though I've served our community in public office for over thirty years, my fight for them is just getting started. And I'll tell you what I would want them to know:
Absolutely no level of MAGA extremism will deter me from being a strong champion for not just my family, but for families across South Florida, and families across the United States.
I did not waver when far-right rioters stormed the Capitol. I did not waver when the new administration put in place orders that would harm every day Americans, and I will not waver in the face of whatever attacks are in store.
These are unprecedented times, John. Now more than ever, we must continue to stay alert, avoid complacency, and organize toward a secure, strong, and prosperous future.
Although the 2026 elections are a world away, that will not stop MAGA billionaires from putting a target on my back. Early grassroots investment is essential to ensuring I can keep my seat and continue the fight for what's right. John, it starts here, with you — will you join our movement with a donation today?
