New Lifeway Research Study Finds Strong Evangelical Support for Refugee Resettlement, Legal Immigration, Border Security & a Path to Citizenship for the Undocumented, Scant Support for Deportation beyond Violent Criminals - While nine-out-of-ten evangelicals support immigration legislation that would “ensure secure national borders,” the same say that potential legislation addressing illegal immigration should “protect the unity of the immediate family” and “respect the God-given dignity of each person.” In fact, each of the six principles outlined in the Evangelical Statement of Principles for Immigration Reform, first released in 2012, continues to be supported by at least 74 percent of all evangelicals, including establishing a path to citizenship for immigrants in the country illegally who meet certain qualifications.

"This bill ensures taxpayers are no longer footing the bill for an agency that operates beyond the scope of constitutional checks and balances."

Luttrell Backs Trump-era Tax Cuts, Energy Independence - The Trump-era tax cuts are nearing their expiration. Republicans like Congressman Morgan Luttrell believe that the Trump-era tax cuts should not only be made permanent, but they should be further reduced, particularly for small businesses. Luttrell also believes that the country could make great strides to address the national debt through energy independence.

Arrington’s Groundbreaking Cancer Detection Bill Gains Support from Republicans, Democrats, and Dallas Cowboys - House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington re-introduced the Nancy Gardner Sewell Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act, legislation to allow for multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests to be covered by Medicare in a timely manner. The legislation enjoys broad bipartisan support in addition to support from outside groups. “Increasing access to multi-cancer early detection screenings will not only drastically improve quality of life for American cancer patients and their families while saving taxpayer dollars, but save lives by catching cancer before it spreads," said Arrington.
