Team — Donald Trump and Elon Musk are acting like dictators, illegally slashing functions of our federal government and ruling by executive order. And of course, Republicans in Congress refuse to hold them accountable.
But we still live in a democracy, and the American people are making their voices heard across this country.
I have to admit that on inauguration day just a few weeks ago, I wondered if we had it in us to fight back. That’s why it’s so inspiring to see so many grassroots fighters standing up to the far-right extremist takeover of Washington.
We have to keep this energy up. We have to push even harder.
That’s always been our game plan at The Long Run: Invest in dynamic candidates from diverse backgrounds who will bring the energy Democrats need in this new era under Donald Trump.
Whether it’s the defunding of crucial federal programs, attacks on LGBTQ Americans, or Trump’s disastrous proposals on Gaza, the Trump agenda must be opposed in every state, in every community, with everything we’ve got, until Trump and his far-right movement are exposed for the frauds they are.
