Light Goose Conservation Order begins Feb. 10
In February and March, millions of light geese – Snow, blue and Ross’s geese – stop to stage in Nebraska. These swirling, barking masses create a spectacle that's impossible to forget.
If you'd like to pursue light geese this year, the season is almost here. Dates for the Light Goose Conservation Order are: East Zone, Feb. 10-April 15; Rainwater Basin Zone, Feb. 10-April 5 and West Zone, Feb. 10-April 5. Learn more at our website.

Nebraskans, if you're getting an income tax refund this year, consider chipping in some of it to the Wildlife Conservation Fund. This fund helps several hundred species in Nebraska that are rare, endangered or threatened, including at-risk pollinators and other native wildlife, fish and plants.
