Let’s talk about Elon Musk.

The foreign billionaire who was neither 1) elected nor 2) confirmed by Congress, but who has bulldozed his way into the center of our government by breaking the law.

I’ll be blunt here: Every American should be deeply concerned right now.

Elon Musk’s actions over the last three weeks have not only been alarming, but they’ve been deeply unconstitutional and downright illegal.

A private citizen has no authority to obliterate an agency created by Congress (nor does the President for that matter), but Elon claims to have led the destruction of USAID. That’s illegal. Then, simultaneously, Elon gained unprecedented control over our federal payment systems… another clearly illegal act.

And now, Elon has the ability to turn off your Social Security, Medicare, and any payments he wants with the flip of a switch.

Who the hell gave Elon Musk this kind of authority?

There is just no limit here. It’s clear there’s no line that Trump and Elon aren’t willing to cross — regardless of the law. He must be held accountable.

So, what do we do?

The longer Republicans continue to blatantly assault our Constitution, the harder I’m going to push back. We must enforce the law.

I’m proud to be leading the charge in Congress demanding transparency on the role of Elon Musk in our government, but let’s be honest: It puts an even bigger target on my back from Trump loyalists.

We need every leader possible in Congress to fight for accountability and speak truth to power, but with an even bigger Republican effort to get me out of office, I’ll need your support to stay fighting here in DC.

Please, if you’re able, consider chipping in to ensure Republicans can’t flip CA-47 and replace me with a Trump and Elon-loving MAGA puppet. It’s never been more important to keep fighting for our democracy.
