Comparative and Bridge Statistics From 2022 Economic Census Now Available [ [link removed] ]

The U.S. Census Bureau today released new Comparative and Bridge Statistics data tables from the 2022 Economic Census [ [link removed] ].

The comparative statistics table includes 2017 and 2022 national, state and selected geography data, tabulated on the 2017 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), at the two- to six-digit NAICS levels.

Data include the number of firms, establishments, employees, sales, and annual and first-quarter payroll. The table allows users to compare the 2017 and 2022 data even if there have been changes to the NAICS codes that might otherwise impact the comparability.

The bridge statistics tables present national data for industries whose NAICS codes changed from 2017 to 2022. They show the components of change in two tables: (1) 2022 NAICS Industries and their 2017 NAICS-based parts, and (2) 2017 NAICS Industries and their 2022 NAICS-based parts.
