A few years ago, our former executive director and current board member Cheryl Leahy stood where the facility once operated, now transformed into a residential area—a powerful symbol of how your support helps us transform cruelty into hope.
The image of Cheryl standing where countless birds once suffered speaks volumes about our journey. Our 2009 investigation exposed unconscionable abuse of newly-hatched chicks and ducklings. Our undercover investigator documented horrific scenes—birds entangled in machinery, sick animals left to suffer, and countless other atrocities that demanded justice.
