One of his first actions was attacking DEI.

John,

As we enter Black History Month, I want to make one thing clear: President Trump will do anything to make America less fair, less just, and less inclusive.

As a proud member of the Congressional Black Caucus, I am deeply disappointed in the new diversity, equity, and inclusion rollbacks taking place in our federal government that are aimed at limiting opportunities for Black Americans and Black communities.

The MAGA myth of reverse discrimination isn’t just insulting – it is entirely baseless. This Black History Month, help me continue fighting for a just and equitable nation by pitching in $5 today.

One of Donald Trump’s first actions was terminating federal government diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Additionally, all federal employees who work in DEI programs have now been placed on paid leave, and those agencies employing them are tasked with submitting a written plan for their dismissal. Trump is playing politics at the expense of our nation, and we cannot stand for it.

The legacy of groundbreaking Black leaders in OH-11 runs decades long, and as Trump works to wreak havoc on our nation, I will continue to support programs that promote fair hiring, support small minority-owned businesses, and ensure our nation represents everyone – not just a select few. But I cannot do it alone.

In honor of Black History Month, will you join me in the fight against discrimination and protect our rights by donating $5 now?

Together,

Shontel Brown
