Yesterday, a leading Freedom Caucus member in the Oklahoma Republican Party put forward a pair of bills to end no-fault divorce and implement a "covenant marriage" policy, which is exactly as scary as it sounds and could very well close pathways for people to escape abusive marriages. Israel begins preparations for Gaza exodus as Egypt lobbies against Trump plan
Israel said on Thursday it has begun preparations for the departure of large numbers of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in line with President Donald Trump’s plan for the territory. Officials meanwhile said Egypt has launched a diplomatic blitz behind the scenes to try and head off the plan. The Trump administration has already dialed back aspects of Donald's wildly immoral and impractical proposal after it was widely rejected internationally, saying the relocation of Palestinians would apparently be temporary. US officials have provided few details about how or when the plan would be carried out. The Palestinians have vehemently rejected Trump’s proposal, fearing Israel will never allow the refugees to return and that it would destabilize the region. Egypt has warned that such a plan could undermine its peace treaty with Israel, a cornerstone of stability and American influence in the Middle East for decades.

The order establishes stricter mandates on sports and gender policy, directing federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, to interpret federal Title IX rules as the prohibition of transgender girls and women from participating in any female sports categories. The timing of the order coincided with National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

"Big News," Duffy wrote on nüTwitter. "Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system." Musk has had a difficult relationship with the Federal Aviation Administration since at least 2023, according to Time. The FAA accused Musk’s company SpaceX last September of having used a launch control room for one of its missions which had not been approved by the agency. The FAA ended up fining SpaceX for that and a number of other violations more than $600,000.
