We can’t afford to miss this opportunity, friend.

The EPA is on the verge of considering a petition to strip away critical state and local pesticide protections – laws that safeguard our communities and environment.

If approved, this petition would preempt hundreds of state and local regulations that are stronger than federal pesticide standards. Without these local protections, millions of pounds of toxic chemicals could be sprayed near schools, parks, and neighborhoods without any notification requirements.

But here’s where you can help: The EPA is asking to hear from the public.

We have until February 20 to flood the EPA with comments demanding they protect these important laws. Will you speak up?

Pesticides like glyphosate have been linked to cancer, reproductive harm and other serious health issues. State and local governments have stepped up to regulate these toxic chemicals where federal laws fall short – but the pesticide industry is lobbying to eliminate these protections.

If the EPA grants this petition, pesticide companies would have free rein to put their profits over public health and environment. We cannot let that happen.

Let’s make it clear to the EPA that they answer to the people, not the pesticide industry.

Local communities know what’s best for their residents and their unique environment, and they deserve the right to enact stronger protections when federal standards fail to address their needs.

Let’s send a clear message to the EPA: Protect local pesticide laws, not corporate greed.

Please submit your comment now to urge the EPA to reject this petition and stand up for public health and the environment!

Thanks for taking action, friend.
