Over the last month, Navajo Nation has become the epicenter for coronavirus cases in the United States, with a higher infection rate than New York City.

While Arizona Democratic members of Congress continue to advocate for greater funding for tribal governments, Donald Trump and GOP leaders continue to fight against life-saving relief.

Recently, The Trump administration was sued by a tribal nation for giving funds to corporations that were originally intended for tribal governments. This funding is critical for saving lives in these communities that are affected the most by COVID-19.

While the Navajo Nation continues to see mortality rates increase in Arizona, Donald Trump continues to lack presidential leadership during the coronavirus crisis. Right now, the Arizona Democratic Party is organizing the largest Get Out The Vote operation in the state’s history so that Navajo Nation and all Arizona voters can make their voices heard, but we can’t do this without your grassroots support.
