I’ll keep this quick because I know it’s early, but I have an important update for you.

I just left the Senate chamber. Your pressure on my colleagues is working. More of my Democratic colleagues have joined me in saying that no Trump nominee should get a vote so long as the Constitutional crisis persists.

That’s why I took to the floor at 2 AM Eastern to lead our efforts to try to block Republicans from proceeding with the vote on Russell Vought, Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget and a co-author of Project 2025.

Nobody else wanted to take the middle of the night shift, so I did. I’m going to do everything I can here because you deserve a no-holds-barred effort to save our democracy and hold Trump and Musk accountable.

If Senate Republicans won’t do their job or exert an ounce of influence on Trump and Musk, I am going to make it as painful as possible for them. That’s the price they get to pay for handing our democracy and government to the billionaires.

Before I take a quick nap to rest up for another long day, I need to ask you to help me keep up this fight and ramp up the public pressure.
