In March 2021, Alex responded to a high-risk call at a building he knew well.
He’d dealt with the suspect before—a violent, drug-addicted man known for
resisting arrest. The last time Alex confronted him, it took three officers and
a Taser to subdue him.




This time, Alex arrived to find three officers struggling on the ground with
the same suspect. The man was violently resisting arrest and refused to comply.
Alex knew the situation was spiraling out of control.




So, Alex used his non-lethal Taser to subdue the suspect.




The danger was over. Everyone got to go home safely that night.




But two years later, DA José Garza dropped a bombshell indictment against
Alex, charging him with aggravated assault.




This is how radical prosecutors destroy good officers—they take lawful,
justified actions and twist them into political scandals.
