Government Meetings   NEWS FROM AUBURN, MAINE   WINTER PARKING BAN The City of Auburn has implemented a WINTER PARKING BAN which will begin at 4:00PM tomorrow (Thursday, 2/6) and end at 7:00AM on Friday (2/7). Reminder: Vehicles parked in violation of a parking ban may be towed at the owner's expense. To use Auburn's winter relief parking lots, you must have a winter relief permit. Permits are FREE and are available at the Auburn Police Department. Certain areas of the downtown are part of Auburn’s Business District Zone. Vehicles parked in this zone are exempt from parking bans between 7:00am & 11:00pm. All vehicles parked in the BDZ must be removed by 11:00pm.
