John — Did you know that currently under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) almost half of caregivers do not qualify for leave?
This gap in policy puts caregivers between a rock and a hard place, often forcing them to sacrifice earnings to do the tough job of caring for a loved one.
That is why I introduced the Caring for All Families Act which builds on our existing laws to expand the FMLA and allow more Americans to qualify for assistance to care for a loved one.
Expanding our support system for caregivers is a win for families, a win for workers, and above all else, the right thing to do. John, if you are with us in this fight to expand family leave and support for caregivers, please make a grassroots contribution to help us expand our Democratic coalition and help us get bills to support working families over the finish line.

I will not let the chaos and confusion of Washington keep me from delivering for Connecticut’s families.
