Trump isn’t slowing down his attacks on the trans community — and we can’t slow down our defense.
Minutes ago, the Trump administration released an executive order banning trans women and girls from sports. This comes despite the fact that, according to NCAA President Charlie Baker’s testimony last month, there are less than ten out of the more than 500,000 athletes competing in the NCAA that identify as transgender.
As A4TE has argued in court before, trans women and girls deserve to play sports. We deserve healthcare, we deserve to use the bathroom, we deserve to be treated like human beings.
