Donald Trump and Elon Musk are working together to overwhelm and confuse the American people. This week, we learned that Musk has access to the Treasury Department payment system. This means he is able to see American taxpayers’ personal information—including yours and mine.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are also actively working to shut down USAID—the federal agency that provides other countries with foreign aid and humanitarian assistance and helps ensure our own national and economic security. Without USAID funding, millions of people in other nations will suffer— and America will lose its standing on the global stage, enabling bad actors in the PRC and Russia to step into the leadership void we vacated.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk aren’t making America great. They’re making it authoritarian. By cutting funds from critical agencies like USAID, they’re giving their billionaire buddies a tax break. Meanwhile, everyday Americans are being left out to dry, and our key alliances are being weakened.
