Friend, the Antiquities Act is one of America’s most effective conservation laws. Through it, the U.S. has established some of our most popular national parks and iconic landscapes. We’re talking about the Grand Canyon, Acadia National Park, Muir Woods, and more special places like them.

The Antiquities Act protects the places we love from development and extraction, ensuring public access for all of us—hikers and bikers, campers and anglers, birders and explorers—today and for generations to come.
Most Americans support protecting our public lands. In fact, a recent poll by Colorado College found that 85 percent of voters in the west support the creation of new national parks and monuments to protect historical and recreational sites. Instead of rolling back effective laws like the Antiquities Act, let’s work to expand protections for the lands we love.
Please tell your members of Congress to oppose S.220/H.R.521 and protect our country’s beautiful places.
Sincerely,
