Team, Maryland is home to one of the largest federal workforces in the nation. 142,876 Marylanders work tirelessly researching cures for cancer, keeping our water clean and our food safe, protecting our communities, and so, so much more. 

However, news just broke that Donald Trump is targeting tens of thousands of Maryland workers to be replaced by his political friends. 

Frankly, this president has zero respect for the dedicated people who keep our government running. To him, they’re expendable.

Maryland won’t cower in fear of Donald Trump. His intimidation tactics don’t work here. 

Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

I ran for Senate as an ally to Maryland workers. You put your faith in me, and I intend to uphold my end of the bargain. I’m prepared to use every tool at my disposal to protect your jobs and livelihoods—including the support of this grassroots coalition.
