We only need to flip three House seats to take back the chamber, and we're already recruiting strong Democratic pro-choice women to run all across the country — including in swing districts currently held by Republicans.
We know that our candidates can do it, John. EMILYs List women won some of the toughest House races in 2024: Reps. Janelle Bynum (OR-05) and Laura Gillen (NY-04) flipped red seats, unseating MAGA extremists; Reps. Emilia Sykes (OH-13) and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) won reelection in Trump districts, holding their ground in some of the toughest races of the cycle; and Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) won her Trump+2 district by seven points.
But it's not going to be easy. Trump and his Republican cronies are once again ready to pour millions of dollars into critical House races, funded by billionaire backers like Elon Musk. They want to buy their way into power, roll back our rights, and control our bodies. We can't let them get away with it.
We know Republicans will throw everything they've got at us, but with the support of this community, we can prepare the next generation of Democratic pro-choice women to run and WIN in some of the toughest races of 2026.
