Hello Team Abby,

I’m excited to reach out on behalf of my friend Abby Finkenauer. Since her swearing I’ve gotten to know her, and I’ve seen just how passionate she is about serving her constituents.

Their issues become her issues, and she is relentless in pursuit of a resolution.

I’m proud to work alongside her, and I know you are too. But her race is a tight one, and she’s up against an end-of-month deadline. Abby needs to raise $12,500 before midnight on Sunday. Can you chip in $5 today and help Abby hit her goal?

Together, we have accomplished so much. But there’s still work to be done.

We need to keep her in Congress to lead on the issues Iowans care about. She’s a champion for women’s health care, and we’re both working to end the global gag rule, and ensure that medical decisions are made between a woman and her doctor.

We still need to end the plague of gun violence in our country. As a 27 year law enforcement officer, I know firsthand it takes a team to go up against the powerful NRA, and Abby’s voice is crucial in this fight.
