TELL CONGRESS: Musk and Trump are firing government workers and trying to

Hi,
Elon Musk is stomping around the government, closing up federal agencies,
firing federal workers, and clearing the way for his cronies to take full
control of critical government data and payment systems.^1
Musk and Trump are trying to shut down USAID and are locking workers out
of federal email accounts and buildings.^2 1,000 EPA workers “could be
fired immediately.”^3
Unelected and the richest man in the world, Elon Musk should not have the
power to undo the federal bureaucracy. Congress must immediately exercise
its power over the executive branch to protect workers and our government.

from Musk!

Demand Progress is doing everything we can to stop Musk’s dangerous
actions. We’ve joined other organizations and federal workers in support
of a lawsuit to stop Musk’s associates from “allegedly operating an
illegally connected server” at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management — a
threat to personal data and all government workers.^4
We need Congress to step up and use their constitutional powers to stop
Musk now.
