Hi there,
As we kick off Black History Month, we are so grateful to have you join us in our mission to expand the electorate in Pennsylvania to include Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth. These historically disenfranchised communities are the least represented and most impacted by decisions our government is making.
And our work has never been more critical.
On the federal level, President Trump launched a massive attack against DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) efforts. In the first days of his term, he signed an executive order to terminate all programs, policies, and activities and eliminate all DEI positions in the federal government. Then he took it a step further, using a horrific tragedy with significant casualties to make baseless and senseless claims that put the blame on DEI hiring.
Make no mistake: PresidentTrump is blatantly spreading falsehoods and misinformation with the goal of creating chaos, and spreading division and flaming prejudices in our society. It goes against everything we stand for, and we won't stand for it.
We are committed to working to ensure that our centered communities are not only able to make their voices heard but live in a society that is just and equitable. One way we can do that is by ensuring voters in Pennsylvania are registered to vote, understand their power, and make their voices heard in critical upcoming elections that could impact their everyday lives.
This Black History Month, will you support us in expanding the Pennsylvania electorate, centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth by donating $25 or more today? → ([link removed]
