He is gutting our international foreign assistance programs that do life-saving work and promote our interests abroad. |
He even gave Elon Musk free rein to access Americans’ most sensitive Social Security, tax, and banking information. |
This is just a sampling of the catastrophic set of failures from the White House and Republican majorities in Congress so far. |
But I didn’t go to Congress to merely complain, I ran to work for my constituents to ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive. |
I swiftly pushed back on the illegal efforts to defund Medicaid and stop children who rely on Head Start programs in my district from receiving the federal support they need. I’m demanding answers from the State Department for their decision to undermine national security, foreign aid, and retreat from America’s leadership in the world. And I joined people from across the country in saying no to Trump’s attempts to raise our costs with his tax hike on our groceries. |
I’ll continue working hard, but I need your help. Because I’ve been so loud, I’ll be a target of those celebrating the dysfunction coming out of Washington. |
