Last week our far-right opponent did a joint call with the Trump campaign and major Republican donors that raised her thousands of dollars. During the call, she attacked a combat veteran, saying the COVID-19 pandemic showed that Colonel Olson can't keep our country safe because she won’t support Trump's border wall. This is a crazy comment from a politician who never spent a minute in the military.

Disrespectful and false claims are the new norm for Trump and Beth Van Duyne. Colonel Olson spent her entire career fighting to keep our country safe. In her 25 trailblazing years in the Air Force, she was among the very first women pilots and first to command an operational flying squadron, she led troops in combat zones and now has a young son who serves in the military.

Unlike our opponent, she knows what it means to take on tough fights and keep people safe and that Trump’s border wall cannot stop a virus.

This rhetoric just further proves that we cannot trust Van Duyne to represent the good folks of TX-24 in Congress. We need a true leader, and that leader is Colonel Kim Olson. Chip in $5 right now so we can raise the $15,000 we need to hit our May fundraising goal today to send Kim’s honest and battle-tested leadership to Congress.
