It is truly an honor to receive the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
I'm proud to fight alongside them to ensure all members of our community, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live with dignity and be free from persecution.
I have been and will always be a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community. From voting for the historic Equality Act to standing with members of the LGBT Equality Caucus: I have fought for and will
continue to fight for LGBTQ+ communities in Congress.
This is a campaign built on love -- and that definitely includes a commitment to making sure everyone in this country is free to love who they love and express their authentic self.
The road to true equality for all Americans is long, and we have a lot of work left to do. But with the HRC and you, friend, on our team, I know that we can secure the change we've been fighting for together.
