------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Fellow Republicans,
I want to take a moment to encourage each of you to get involved in the important work ahead. We are currently in the process of holding Precinct Election Meetings, which are critical for ensuring our voices are represented at both the County and State Conventions.
If you didn’t register on time for your precinct meeting, there may still be opportunities to become a delegate or an alternate if seats remain unfilled. We want every seat filled, as this is how you earn your vote at the County and State Conventions. Please check with your respective county organizations to confirm when your County Conventions will be taking place, most will occur in March. You can also find updates on our website: www.thehawaiirepublicanparty.com ([link removed]) .
State Convention – May 24-25 on Kauai
Our State Convention will be held on Kauai on May 24-25, and we are expecting a strong turnout. We are honored to have a well-respected parliamentarian, joining us to ensure a professional and organized convention. While we will have a couple of guest speakers, we will remain focused on the essential business of the party, including State Bylaws and the election of new State Officers.
Your Voice Matters – Legislative Session Is Underway
The Hawaii legislative session is now in progress, and we need all Republicans to be actively engaged. There are critical bills being introduced that directly impact our constitutional rights. If you cannot attend hearings in person, submit testimony online to make your voice heard. Please visit:

Current Legislative Threats:
* Is Governor Green’s attemptingUnconstitutional Vaccine Mandates?: Is he is attempting to mandate vaccines for children, disregarding religious exemptions? What will be next?
* Attacks on the Second Amendment: Hearings are being held tomorrow to push for even more restrictions on our right to bear arms. See flyer below on the bill being presented. Pay attention to who authors these bills as well.
* Hawaii as a Sanctuary State? Is this what’s best for Hawaii’s citizens? While generations of local families are struggling with the economic squeeze and forced out of Hawaii, lawmakers are more focused on policies that hurt, rather than help, OUR people.
If we don’t stand up and fight back, we risk losing our constitutional rights. With only 12 elected Republicans in office, we must be louder, stronger, and more united than ever to push back against government overreach.
Progress & Growth – Strengthening the Party
Over the last 16 months, we have made significant progress as a party. When I took office, we were in financial distress, but today, we are financially stable and growing. Here’s what we’ve accomplished:
* Financial Stability – No more wasting donor funds on a failing building, approved budgets, and bills are paid
* Legal Counsel for the Party – Following guidance from RNC Chair Mike Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump.
* Statewide Marketing Efforts – Encouraging people to get involved, and bringing attention to the party and candidates
* Website & Training Programs – Improving resources for Candidates, Volunteers, and Republicans across Hawaii. User friendly website, consistent updates
* Successful Caucus & Elections – Growing the number of elected Republican officials, and holding a successful caucus to where President Trump received all qualified votes to support his nomination at the National convention.
* Ending Internal Obstruction – We need to continue to stop internal obstruction enforcing integrity. Change is necessary, we can't go backwards with what has caused the state we were in when I took the seat, we need ideas and good patriots to stand up and help make the change for Hawaii and support President Trump.
* GROW Program Completion – First time in party history to achieve all levels. This program helped our financial situation at the time as well as managing fund responsibility.
* Transparency in Fundraising – Introducing "Know Where Your Money Goes" – Click Here to Learn More ([link removed]) . Also in regards to transparency, I look forward to more town halls in person and via zoom. I look forward to sharing the good, the bad and the ugly. We can only learn from our experiences.
While we have accomplished a lot, there is still more work to do. The Hawaii Republican Party must become a stronger voice for the people while upholding our values and purpose.
Looking Ahead – 2026 Elections & Prince Kuhio Event
The 2026 election is around the corner, and we must start now. We need to support candidates early, and we must find the right Republican to run for Governor and Lt. Governor. The party has been behind for too long—it’s time to change that.
Mark Your Calendar: Prince Kuhio Event – April 5th
We look forward to gathering for this important event—details to follow soon.
Let’s Be Proactive & Fight for Our Rights!
Our upward momentum is undeniable, but we must not stop now. As long as we stand for the people, uphold the Constitution, support our President, and resist infiltration and obstruction, we can and will succeed.
* Get involved in legislative fights—push back against bad bills and support good policies.
* Show up, speak up, and stand strong—the future of Hawaii depends on it.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can and will make a difference.
In liberty and service,
Tamara McKay
