On January 17, 2025, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld Judge Hanen’s previous ruling against DACA and limited this ruling to Texas. No changes have taken effect at this time — current recipients may continue renewing their DACA (including those in Texas), but no new applications will be processed.
