What does being a racist, bigoted, white nationalist get you if you’re a white man named Darren Beattie?
Under Trump’s “leadership,” it gets you a top State Department job as undersecretary of state for public diplomacy.
You can bet Beattie and Trump are going to come for us. Chip in anything you can now to help our resistance against men like this who are spreading bigotry, racism, and white supremacy.
Beattie has a TON of F’ed up tweets including one that says “Competent white men must be in charge”...yeah, you read that right. Take a look ⬇️
He even specifically threatened Black Lives Matter and said we “must learn [our] place.” WTF!
Trump and Darren Beattie have made their hate for organizations like Black Lives Matter clear and you can bet they’re not going to waste any time attacking us.
H.R. 9495 already passed the House with a 219-184 vote. This bill would allow the federal government to investigate and effectively shut down any tax-exempt organization — including news outlets, universities, and civil society groups — by stripping them of tax-exempt status based on a unilateral accusation of wrongdoing.
And this is only the beginning.

Trump is making it clear: This administration is happy to platform misogynists, white supremacists, and their ilk.
